The Guild

The Guild: Parents Association

All members of Somerset House, pupils and staff, past and present, parents and friends belong to the Guild. Led by a group of enthusiastic parents who serve on a Committee, the Guild organises a variety of social occasions and functions which not only raise funds for the school but also help to create unity among the members of the school family. The Guild also serves to keep the communication between parents and teachers open and serves as the “voice of the parents”. Every year in June the Guild hold their Annual General Meeting and those parents present elect a new Committee at this time. The Guild Committee can be contacted on guild@somersethouse.co.za .
