Curriculum

Curriculum at Oakwood Pre-School

We strive to provide the right environment to help develop:

• A Skilful communicator

All children will  experience a play-based curriculum, of planned, independent and adult led activities. These experiences will take place indoors and outdoors, and our aim is to develop knowledge, skills and understanding in the main learning areas. These are Personal, Social and Emotional Development; Communication ( Language and Literacy);  Numeracy; Physical and Creative. 

 

All pre-school classes have Xhosa and Music lessons. Grade 00 and 0 also enjoy computer lessons and Grade 0 take part in Physical Education.
