Lights, Camera, Action!

Drama is offered as a curriculum subject for each child from grade 3 – 7.  Children are exposed to all forms of drama including an understanding of theory and origins thereof and the different genre’s.

All children are coached in various techniques including mime and voice production.  An element of performance is expected and the benefits of group work are put to good use.  We include dance and movement as a component of the syllabus.

 

 

 

From puppetry to storytelling to making movies…and finally the Grade 7 production where each child has a chance to shine and learn the ropes of live theatre including all the art design, costume design, stage make-up and stage management. 

There is also a Junior Prep concert in which every member of the Junior Prep Phase plays a role.
